Project Overview
Every installation begins long before the first pew is assembled. For this project at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Watertown, we thought it would be fun to share a behind-the-scenes look at our installation process. These photos capture the sanctuary as our team carefully staged each component before assembly, followed by the completed installation that transformed the space into a warm and welcoming place for worship.
Design and Installation Details
One of the most important parts of any installation is organization. Before assembly begins, every pew component is carefully laid out throughout the sanctuary so our installers can efficiently build each row in its proper location. While it may look like hundreds of individual pieces spread across the floor, every component has a purpose and a place.
For this project, we installed our PB-60 pews featuring upholstered seats and our CE-13 pew ends. Each pew end includes an engraved cross on the side, adding a subtle but meaningful detail that complements the worship space. Every pew was also equipped with book racks on the back, providing convenient storage for hymnals and other worship materials.
It’s always rewarding to compare the “before” and “after” moments of an installation. Watching a sanctuary transform from neatly organized stacks of components into beautifully finished pews is one of the most satisfying parts of what we do. These behind-the-scenes moments highlight the planning, craftsmanship, and teamwork that go into every project before the congregation ever takes a seat.
