Project Overview
We were honored to partner with the historic Baltimore Basilica in Baltimore, Maryland, on a sanctuary project that blended colonial design with thoughtful craftsmanship. The work included colonial-style pews and pew ends, frontal screens, communion rails, and a custom spiral staircase leading into an elevated pulpit—all created to enhance the beauty and function of this remarkable worship space.
Design and Installation Details
At the heart of the project were the colonial pews and pew ends, crafted to reflect traditional styling while providing long-lasting durability. To support the parish’s liturgical needs, we also provided frontal screens for the front rows and communion rails that honor historic worship practices while complementing the Basilica’s interior architecture.
One of the most unique aspects of this project was the creation of a spiral staircase leading into an elevated pulpit. Designed with both function and visual impact in mind, this piece serves as a striking focal point that highlights the Basilica’s timeless character.
Every element was thoughtfully designed and installed with respect for the historic significance of the church while providing furnishings that will serve for generations.
