Project Overview
We were honored to partner with Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Parish in Carrollton, TX on a project that brought renewed warmth, refinement, and unity to their worship space. This installation included solid red oak PB-40 pews with open ends, SCII side chairs, custom-finished frontal screens, and kneelers, all crafted to bring both durability and beauty to the parish environment.
Design and Installation Details
The newly installed pews were built from solid red oak using our PB-40 profile, chosen for its timeless lines and lasting strength. Each pew, along with the SCII chairs, was finished in a custom dark stain developed specifically to complement the church’s interior tones. This rich finish adds depth and warmth across the entire sanctuary, helping the seating become a visually unifying feature.
To ensure comfort and harmony, the pews were paired with kneelers using fabric selected to match the chosen stain and overall aesthetic. The kneelers themselves are our Deluxe Aluma Kneel system, designed for smooth operation, quiet use, and long-term reliability.
The open-end design used throughout the pews brings a clean, inviting look that works seamlessly in both traditional and contemporary worship spaces. This minimal profile keeps the sanctuary feeling open while still offering the structure and definition that well-crafted pew ends provide.
To round out the project, the parish ordered frontal screens built to match the pews in both style and finish. These screens create a polished, cohesive front row, adding balance and structure without interrupting the warmth of the space.
