Project Overview
We were honored to partner with St. Monica Parish in Dallas, Texas, on a project that brought together timeless craftsmanship, sacred tradition, and thoughtful design. This sanctuary update included a wide range of liturgical furnishings and seating: a marble altar, marble pulpit, marble baptismal font, presider and deacon chairs, gangable chairs designed to mimic pews, and custom radius pews. Each piece was created and installed to bring beauty, function, and reverence to the heart of the parish’s worship space.
Design and Installation Details
At the center of the project is the marble altar, serving as both a visual focal point and a lasting symbol of faith. Crafted with elegance and durability, the altar sets the tone for the sanctuary, anchoring the worship experience with strength and reverence. To complement it, a marble pulpit was added, ensuring the proclamation of the Word is highlighted with dignity. The marble baptismal font provides a welcoming, enduring symbol of initiation into the faith, thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the other stone furnishings.
Seating played a key role in this project as well. The parish selected radius pews, designed to follow the sanctuary’s architectural flow and provide both comfort and visual balance. To further enhance flexibility, we included gangable chairs—crafted to link together and resemble pews when arranged in rows, while still offering the adaptability of individual seating. This feature ensures that the parish has versatile seating solutions for various services, events, and liturgical needs.
Adding to the sanctuary’s refinement are the presider and deacon chairs, built to provide comfort and dignity for those serving in the liturgy. Each chair was designed to complement the sanctuary’s furnishings, ensuring a unified and reverent atmosphere.
