Project Overview
We were honored to partner with Curé of Ars Catholic Church in Leawood on a sanctuary furnishing project designed to create a cohesive and welcoming worship environment. The installation included PB-60 pews with upholstered seats, custom CE-13 pew ends, matching frontal screens, and SC-Ⅱ chairs, all coordinated to complement the sanctuary.
Design and Installation Details
The sanctuary seating features our PB-60 pews with upholstered seats, providing enhanced comfort while maintaining a timeless appearance. The pews were mitered to follow the layout of the sanctuary, creating a clean and intentional seating arrangement that naturally draws attention toward the front of the worship space.
Each pew was built with our CE-13 open-end design and enhanced with an engraved cross, adding a subtle yet meaningful detail that reinforces the sacred character of the sanctuary. Matching frontal screens were crafted with complementary ends, creating visual continuity between the front rows and the main seating sections.
Both the pews and frontal screens were equipped with bookracks and our Aluma-Kneel kneelers, providing practical functionality while maintaining a unified appearance throughout the space. These elements support the liturgical needs of the congregation while preserving the clean lines of the overall design.
To complete the project, we provided SC-Ⅱ chairs upholstered to match the pew seating. The coordinated upholstery and woodwork help create a seamless transition between seating areas, resulting in a sanctuary that feels unified.
Through careful attention to detail and close collaboration with the parish, the finished space blends comfort, craftsmanship, and reverence into a cohesive worship environment.
