Project Overview
We were grateful for the opportunity to partner with Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston, South Dakota on a project that brought renewed comfort, beauty, and unity to their worship space. This work included new pews with upholstered seating, coordinating kneelers, custom pew ends, and matching slanted frontal screens—each element thoughtfully crafted to enhance both function and aesthetic harmony.
Design and Installation Details
The newly crafted pews feature upholstered seats and kneelers, both finished in matching fabric selected to complement the church’s interior. This provides not only enhanced comfort for the congregation but also a refined, cohesive look that elevates the sanctuary.
The pew ends were built using our CE-13 minimal design, a clean and elegant profile that works beautifully in both traditional and modern spaces. Each end is further customized with a cross engraving, introducing a subtle yet meaningful symbol of faith that adds character without overpowering the overall design.
To complete the project, we created slanted frontal screens that match the pews in both style and finish. These screens help create a structured and visually balanced front row while maintaining the warm, inviting atmosphere of the sanctuary.
Our team worked closely with the parish to ensure every detail, from fabric selection to engraved elements, aligned with their vision. The result is a worship space that feels refreshed, unified, and welcoming for all who gather.
