Project Overview
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton, South Dakota recently completed a sanctuary upgrade focused on enhancing both beauty and functionality. The project included the installation of brand new pews, chairs, kneelers, and custom chancel furniture—providing the congregation with a refreshed worship space that honors tradition while meeting modern needs.
In addition to the sanctuary seating, chairs and kneelers were thoughtfully added to other areas of the church, ensuring comfort, flexibility, and reverence throughout the entire worship experience.
Design and Installation Details
The custom-crafted pews were designed to complement the church’s architecture, blending timeless style with practical durability. Alongside the pews, new chancel furniture was built and installed to complete the sanctuary upgrade.
Chairs were integrated not only within the sanctuary but also in other parts of the church to provide versatile seating arrangements for services, gatherings, and special events. The addition of kneelers throughout ensures both comfort and devotion during prayer, reinforcing the church’s spirit of reverence and worship.
Each piece was finished in a warm, traditional wood tone that reflects the congregation’s heritage while creating a welcoming and cohesive atmosphere. Our team worked closely with church leadership to ensure a smooth installation process—carefully coordinating with their schedule to minimize disruption to worship services.
