Project Overview
We were honored to partner with Capstone Academy in Fargo on a unique project that included both chapel furnishings and custom millwork throughout the academy. The work combined traditional worship seating with functional educational spaces, resulting in a cohesive blend of craftsmanship, durability, and everyday usability.
Design and Installation Details
Within the chapel, we crafted our PB-95 pews featuring custom pew ends designed specifically for the space. These pews provide a timeless appearance while offering the durability and comfort needed for regular student gatherings and worship services. To complement the seating, we also built a matching ambo that serves as a central focal point within the chapel.
Beyond the chapel, the project included several custom pieces designed to support the academy’s daily operations and gathering spaces. A large custom table with coordinating chairs and cushioned seating was created to provide a comfortable and functional meeting area. We also built a smaller library table paired with four all-wood chairs, offering a durable and inviting workspace for students and staff.
Additional custom millwork included a reception desk and a dedicated library reception desk featuring an integrated book return slot. These pieces were designed to balance practicality with a clean, professional appearance while maintaining continuity with the academy’s overall aesthetic.
Projects like this showcase how custom craftsmanship can extend beyond worship spaces to create functional, welcoming environments throughout an educational campus.
