Project Overview
We were honored to partner with Clayton County Public Schools in Jonesboro on a custom boardroom seating project designed to provide comfort, durability, and a clean, professional appearance. The installation included custom pew seating with upholstered seats and backs, along with two custom 15-foot desks designed to match the front of the boardroom and create a cohesive overall presentation.
Design and Installation Details
The custom pew seating was crafted using beech wood, selected for its strength, smooth grain pattern, and refined appearance. Upholstered seats and backs were incorporated throughout the installation to provide long-lasting comfort while maintaining a polished and professional environment suited for meetings and public gatherings.
In addition to the seating, we designed and built two custom 15-foot desks to complement the front of the boardroom. These desks were carefully crafted to coordinate with the seating and overall interior aesthetic, helping establish a unified and balanced space.
Projects like this also demonstrate how pew seating can be an excellent solution outside of traditional church environments. In boardrooms, auditoriums, and public meeting spaces, pew-style seating offers clear sightlines, efficient seating capacity, and exceptional long-term durability. The continuous seating design maximizes available space while maintaining an organized and welcoming appearance.
By combining custom craftsmanship with practical functionality, the completed boardroom provides a comfortable and professional setting built to serve the district for years to come.
